All-around disaster.

Capital Cabaret feels like a failed experiment. The low scores across the board suggest a lack of attention to detail and a general air of neglect. Unless you're desperate, there are better options in the area.

How this is scored
61/100

More like a dingy motel room than a cabaret.

The property itself is a letdown, with a dingy atmosphere, a cramped location, and terrible parking. The only slightly redeeming quality is the decent amenities, but that's not enough to make up for the overall mediocrity. If you're looking for a fancy night out, keep looking.

Expect friendly but incompetent staff.

The service at Capital Cabaret is friendly, but it's also sloppily executed. The door staff is welcoming, but the bar service is slow and disorganized. The respect and safety scores are decent, but that's not enough to make up for the overall incompetence. If you want to be treated like a VIP, go somewhere else.

Don't bother with the subpar food and drinks.

The food and drinks at Capital Cabaret are an afterthought, with subpar quality and overpriced prices. The food quality is nonexistent, and the drink prices are outrageous. Unless you're a glutton for punishment, avoid the kitchen and stick to the basics. Don't expect to be impressed.

Impressive Upgrade I was a regular at Pure Gold and was blown away by Capital Cabaret's massive upgrade. The main stage is epic, and the VIP areas are really worth the splurge. Drinks are still pricey, but the atmosphere makes up for it.
70/100 SW score
Mixed Bag I brought my guy friends here for a night out and we had mixed feelings. The private dance rooms are super convenient, but the music on the main stage was a bit too loud for my taste. Overall, it's a solid choice, but not my top pick.
50/100 SW score
Room for Improvement As a local, I was excited to see the Pure Gold crew at a new spot, but unfortunately, the parking situation was a real pain. The dancers were great, though, and the main stage was cool. Maybe they'll work out the kinks soon.
