Cheap beers and daytime shift beats the thin nighttime crowd.

Hyde Cabaret is a neighborhood dive where the daytime vibe genuinely works—cheap beers, friendly bartenders, and relaxed dancers who actually talk. Evenings thin out considerably, and talent swings wildly depending on shift. The room itself is tight and unremarkable, but the price point and laid-back daytime atmosphere make it a solid pick if you know when to go. Come early or afternoon, not late night.

How this is scored
41/100

Free parking, small room, bar-centric layout, poor lighting outside.

Nondescript building on busy Kennedy Boulevard with free parking and a small, bar-centric layout. The room is tight with a single small stage, central rectangular bar, and a beaded-curtain VIP area offering no real privacy. Lighting outside is poor, and the space has that plastic-flooring dive feel, though recent updates have improved cleanliness. Best for a casual, intimate crowd, not a showcase room.

Friendly bartenders during day; evening staff slower and less engaged.

Day shift bartenders are genuinely friendly and attentive; evening staff slows noticeably and seems less engaged. Door staff waive cover charges late or during slow times, and no cover is standard afternoons. Respect and safety are solid, though cleanliness is baseline—not pristine, but acceptable. Service is transactional and efficient, not polished.

Older, conversational dancers day shift; thin talent pool nights.

Day shift skews older, conversational, and genuinely friendly—no hard-sell approach. Nights are inconsistent; talent quality ranges from 6–8 depending on who's working. Dancers are more likely to stick with regulars, so newcomers may feel overlooked. Stage work is minimal; this is a floor-dance and VIP room spot. Pasties are standard.

Birthday Bash I brought the crew to Hyde Cabaret for my birthday and we had a blast. The non-smoking area is a nice touch, and the cheap beers made the night go smoother. Dancers were on point, topless lap dances were a highlight.

Solid Night Out I've been to Hyde a few times and it's always... fine. Drink prices are super affordable, which is a plus. The vibe is relaxed, but the parking is a total pain. Maybe I'm just spoiled, but I've seen better

First Timer Disappointment I stopped by Hyde with some coworkers and was expecting a bit more. The jukebox selection was kinda meh, and the VIP value just wasn't worth it. The dancers were okay, but the atmosphere felt a bit off. Maybe I caught it on a bad night
