All-around disaster.

It's a mess. From the moment you walk in, you can tell something's off. The low overall score is a reflection of the lack of effort put into every aspect of the club. You'll leave feeling disappointed and maybe even a little taken advantage of. Maybe try this place if you're in the area and have no other options, but don't go out of your way for it.

How this is scored
58/100

Underwhelming experience from the get-go.

The room is a letdown. The low scores for atmosphere, luxury, and amenities make it feel like a dive bar. The only somewhat positive thing is the decent parking situation. But even that's not enough to save this place. You might be better off avoiding it altogether.

Lacking in all areas of hospitality.

The service is a joke. The door staff, bar staff, and even the dancers seem completely uninterested in making your experience enjoyable. The low scores for speed, respect, and professionalism make it clear that they're not trying. Don't expect to be treated like a valued customer here.

Terrible drinks, decent food at high prices.

The food is a mixed bag. The food quality is decent, but the prices are way too high. The drink prices are also pretty steep, but at least the quality is good. The low score for bottle prices is a major turnoff, though. If you're looking for a good meal, you might be able to find something here, but don't come for the drinks.

Some decent dancers, but not worth the hassle.

The dancers are the only somewhat redeeming quality of this place. Some of them are actually pretty good, but the low scores for appearance style and interaction make it clear that they're not all created equal. The VIP value is also super low, so don't expect to get any special treatment. You might be able to find a decent performer here, but it's not worth the hassle.

Good times, but the dollar parade adds up I've been to Johnny A's Hitching Post for a few bachelor parties, and it's always been a good time. The affordable drinks ($5 shots, $8 beers) and decent food make it a great spot to hang out with the guys. However, the dollar parade can get out of hand, and by the end of the night, it's added up to hundreds. Still, it's worth it for the good vibes and secure parking.

Dancer favoritism is a bummer As a regular at Johnny A's, I've noticed that the dancers tend to favor the regulars over new customers. It's frustrating when you're trying to get a dance, but they're too busy chatting with the guys who come in every week. The food and drink affordability are still top-notch, but the dancer favoritism brings down the experience.

Disappointing experience I stopped by Johnny A's Hitching Post on a whim, and it was a disappointment from the start. The dancers didn't seem to care about performing, and the staff was inconsistent - one bartender was very rude, while the others were okay. The only highlight was the secure parking, but it wasn't enough to save the experience. Maybe I just caught them on a bad night, but I won't be back.
