Hybrid adult store and theater; inconsistent roster, variable nights, best with low expectations.

Medusas sits on the Edison strip's lower tier—a hybrid sex shop and theater with a volatile dancer roster. Reviews reveal nights ranging from three lounging performers to packed events with special programming (swingers, group shows). The $12–$80 cover and $25–$60 dance pricing (per 2018–2019 reviews) reflect this volatility; you're gambling on who shows up. Best for adventurous patrons who know the venue's experimental side and can roll with thin crowds or surprise events.

How this is scored
60/100

Back-lot parking, metal-door entry, sprawling private-room layout with lounge seating.

The space sprawls across private rooms accessed via a back-lot metal door, with couches and a retail counter up front. Parking is free and available in back, though reviewers note it can fill during special events. Layout shifts frequently, and the overall aesthetic reads as shabby and worn—not a luxury destination, but functional for its purpose.

Counter staff handle transactions; abrupt moments, but respectful and safe overall.

The counter staff (usually a larger man or woman) handle money, room rates, and dancer coordination with a transactional tone; one reviewer called the front desk "abrupt," another "tight-lipped." Safety and respect are present, and cleanliness is passable, but don't expect warmth or hand-holding.

Talent swings wildly; occasional standouts like Yuki, but many nights thin and underwhelming.

The roster is the club's biggest wildcard. On good nights, standouts like Yuki (described as striking, an 8–9) or a slim blonde can deliver. On slow afternoons, you might find one tired or unappealing dancer smoking out back. Reviewers report ages ranging from late 20s to 40+, with appearance and professionalism highly inconsistent. Interaction and tip expectations vary; some dancers offer touch and extra time, others are distant. Expect to negotiate privately with the dancer about what's included.

Great vibe for couples, way different than expected Went with my girlfriend on a Saturday couples event and honestly had a blast. The whole privacy thing is real—you can literally control who sees you with the curtain setup. No crazy bottle markups either since they don't serve alcohol, just mixers. Talent was solid that night, though I've heard it's hit or miss on random nights.
50/100 SW score
Not what I thought it was, kinda awkward Showed up thinking this was a traditional strip club and got confused real quick. It's basically a members-only swingers spot with a novelty shop attached. The dress code is strict and the vibe felt pretty niche. Went on a slow night and there were maybe three dancers working, so the whole experience felt thin. Might work better on event nights but I wasn't planning on that.
70/100 SW score
Solid on event nights, dead otherwise I've been a few times now and the difference between a themed weekend and a random Tuesday is night and day. When they've got events, the place is packed and the talent actually shows up. Other times you're lucky to find anyone worth your time. The space is clean and the privacy setup is legit, but the inconsistency keeps me from coming more often. Value-wise, it's not cheap if you're just doing private dances.
