Spacious, well-lit room with solid talent; light crowds and inconsistent stage energy.

Mirage sits in a rough neighborhood but delivers a genuinely spacious, bright room that reviewers consistently praise—rare among strip clubs. The roster is attractive and the seating comfortable, but the post-pandemic decline is real: crowds are thin most nights, stage performances are sparse, and dancer availability fluctuates. Cover runs about $5 on slower nights, $10 on Fridays (per 2008–2026 reviews). Best bet: early evening or Thursday, when a few solid regulars show up and the floor has energy.

How this is scored
57/100

Large central stage, comfortable seating, free parking behind building; sketchy neighborhood location.

The building itself is unremarkable in a sketchy area, but inside it's one of the brightest clubs around—you can actually see the dancers clearly, which matters. A large elevated stage with two poles sits centered in the room, surrounded by comfortable chairs and tables on both sides; private booths line the back. Free parking behind the building makes access easy despite the rough neighborhood vibe. Layout is functional and spacious, though decor is dated.

Friendly staff and bartenders; slow service and light crowds dampen the experience.

Bartenders and waitstaff are genuinely friendly and attentive; one reviewer specifically praised the bartender for remembering regulars. The bouncer enforces a strict door policy (license scan, cover charge upfront), and staff respect boundaries—though one incident report of a bouncer backing a dancer's demand for payment after a light touch suggests enforcement can be uneven. Speed is slow during light crowds, which is most nights.

Fried-only kitchen, no fresh options; drinks overpriced, water costs $5.

Kitchen is fried items only—no fresh options—and reviewers consistently flag it as low-quality. A bottle of water costs $5, which stings. Drinks are overpriced (Jack & Coke ~$9 as of recent reviews), and the beer selection hasn't changed in years. Food is not a draw here.

Attractive roster with strong appearance; uneven stage presence and sparse floor interaction.

Roster is genuinely attractive—reviewers mention strong appearance and style (7/10 across the board)—with a mix of Latina, white, Asian, and black dancers, mostly in their 20s. A few standouts (Ava, Katrina, Jewelz) earn repeated mentions. Stage presence is uneven: some dancers perform well, others seem disengaged or absent. Floor interaction is the real weak spot—multiple reviewers report dancers ignoring newcomers or being slow to approach, even when patrons are ready to spend. Lap dances run ~$25 per song (2012–2026 reviews), VIP rooms $190 for half-hour. Best experience comes from building rapport with a regular or catching a standout on a quiet night.

70/100 SW score
Good parking, weak everything else Stopped by on a Saturday with buddies and found maybe three dancers working. The place has that old 80s vibe which is kind of charming if you squint, but the drinks are expensive and the bartender seemed more interested in his phone. Parking lot is solid though—plenty of spots, which beats most places in Rochester.
50/100 SW score
Used to be decent, not anymore I've been coming here for years and it's night and day. There's barely anyone dancing most nights, the place needs serious cleaning, and I won't even get into the bathroom situation. The whole vibe feels like it's stuck in 1992 and not in a fun retro way. Not worth the cover charge these days.
40/100 SW score
Disappointed but honest about the value Went in expecting a solid night out and left after an hour. The layout is actually pretty spacious with good stage setup, but there's barely anyone working, the cleanliness is rough, and bottle prices are ridiculous for what you get. Could've had a better time at a bar for half the cost.
