Set-It-Off is a total bust.

Set-It-Off Go Go Bar is a disappointment. From the moment you walk in, it's clear this place is struggling. Despite some friendly staff, the overall experience leaves much to be desired, especially considering the average prices. So what? If you're looking for a cheap night out, maybe, but don't expect much.

How this is scored
38/100

Underwhelming experience from the get-go.

The property itself is underwhelming, with a lackluster atmosphere and poor location. While the parking is convenient, the cramped space and limited amenities make it feel like a dive bar. The luxury vibe they're going for just feels forced. So what? If you're a local who just wants a cheap drink, you might be okay, but don't expect a nice evening out.

Friendly staff can't save the lack of service.

The staff at Set-It-Off are friendly and try their best, but the service is slow and disorganized. The bar service is decent, but the door service is non-existent. Despite the respect and safety being top-notch, it's hard to overlook the lack of speed and cleanliness. So what? If you're with a group and can tolerate slow service, you might be okay, but solo visitors might want to look elsewhere.

Boring drink selection and mediocre food.

The food selection at Set-It-Off is boring and overpriced. The drink prices are reasonable, but the quality of the food is just okay. The cigar and hookah options are a nice touch, but not enough to save the rest of the menu. So what? If you're looking for a quick snack or a drink, you might be okay, but don't expect a great meal.

Bros' Night Out We hit up Set-It-Off for a bachelor party and it delivered. The $5 dances were a steal and the drinks were dirt cheap. The place has a great energy, especially with the stage shows. Only downside was the sketchy neighborhood, but the security was solid.
70/100 SW score
Decent Spot I've been to Set-It-Off a few times, and it's an alright spot. The drinks are definitely affordable, and the $5 cover charge isn't bad. However, the private room is a bit cramped, and the parking situation is a hassle. Overall, it's a decent place to grab a drink and some company, but nothing special.

Not Impressed As a first-timer, I was expecting a bit more luxury. Set-It-Off feels a bit like a dive, especially with the seedy neighborhood. The dancers were okay, but the private room was pretty cramped. The drinks were cheap, I'll give them that, but overall it felt like a bit of a rip-off.
